The business is registered at 642 Ramona St, Palo Alto, CA 94301; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Surprisingly tasty 😋 The collard greens were tender and flavorful. The Oxtails w/ curry goat was tasty but skimpy. Less rice and beans more Oxtails I encourage this restaurant to add steamed cabbage and brown stewed chicken to there menu! The Mac n cheese was so so. I will return to give the Mac n cheese another try LUPE (server) was welcoming and stayed on the kitchen about our delayed items lol

Came here to celebrate Juneteenth at a beautiful black-owned-business and was very happy with my experience. My whole group loved their food! I personally had the Jerk Tofu with Mac & Cheese, then the Sweet Potato pie. Absolutely delicious, flavor was the perfect amount. The staff is so kind and accommodating!

The curry goat and jerk chicken were outstanding – lots of flavor in both the main and the sides, especially the fried plantains. It was weird not getting a formal receipt and being told that because the credit card machine wasn’t working, we needed to pay the manager directly using Venmo.

This was my first time ever coming to this Caribbean style restaurant! My aunt and I wanted to try something different and we both like things with good flavor and a little bit of spice!! I suggested Caribbean food since I just had Peruvian food the weekend before. You should look for my review of Límón in downtown Mountain View. Since there’s construction going on in the area, I didn’t realize there was a parking lot adjacent to the entrance of the restaurant! Lol I circled back around and parked in the underground parking. It smelled really bad as I walked up, but I guess whatever they were cooking in the City Hall is what made the parking garage smell? It didn’t matter because from the street I could hear the joyous Caribbean beats and I really like that music. It just makes you feel happy and want to dance even if you don’t know how!! Apparently, just before me was a giant catering order so the four employees were quickly getting things set up and chefs were moving back-and-forth and saran wrapping and packing up this big order. I asked if I could do takeout and they handed me a menu! I ended up ordering two different dishes. I ordered: *chicken jerk- dark meat * 2- Jamaica

I knew this place wasn’t going to be good as soon as I opened the door. 🚩red flag #1 - I couldn’t hear the music from the outside. Anyone who has ever been to an authentic Caribbean or Jamaican restaurant knows that the music will be blasting. 🚩red flag #2 - When I stepped into the restaurant I didn’t smell anything. No spices, no fried festival, nada. 🚩red flag #3 - There wasn’t a Caribbean person insight, including in the kitchen!! How sway?! Review: Even with all of the red flags staring me in the face, I stayed. After a long day at work I didn’t have the energy to figure out another option. Plus I’ve had this place bookmarked for a while. Anywho, I was seated toward the back of an empty restaurant by a waiter who was clearly distracted. I started with a drink, a non-alch mango mojito. He brought out the mojito which should include club soda. It was flat and tasteless. So I sent it back and asked for a ginger beer. Which I figured would be a safe bet since it’s usually in a can or bottle. Again, I’m brought what I assume is watered down ginger juice with no carbonation. I then ordered the sampler platter which includes: - Jerk chicken: dry AND too spicy to eat (pick a strug
